Sunday 17th March
Nature as our teacher
What do you see?
Trees that are bold and unwavering
Rivers that are deep and flowing
.
Nature as our teacher
What do you hear?
Birds that sing their morning song
Wind that whispers through the leaves
.
Nature as our teacher
What do you smell?
Rain as it falls from the sky
Flower petals expanding into bloom
.
Nature as our teacher
What do you taste?
Salty sea spray on a windy day
A sweet and luscious waterfall
.
Nature as our teacher
What do you feel?
The grounding of Earth beneath my feet
The expansiveness of the starry night sky
.
Nature as our teacher
Our guide and our light
To look deep within ourselves
Access knowing
Ancient and profound
To connect more fully with ourselves in this life
Come into our bodies
Feel into our cells
The medicine of mother nature
.

Philanthropic Project Spotlight: Seed Mob
A reminder, we are supporting Seed Mob for the month of March here through the diary of The Desert membership community.
Join us for our first Philanthropic Project Spotlight for 2024, and the third occasion we are supporting Seed Mob and their high impact mission in this way.
“Seed Mob is Australia’s first Indigenous youth climate network. We are building a movement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people for climate justice with the Australian Youth Climate Coalition.
Seed’s vision is for a just and sustainable future with strong cultures and communities, powered by renewable energy.”
All membership subscriptions for the month of March will 100% pay forward directly to Seed Mob, supporting the project in their powerful work.
“Your donation will go directly into supporting Seed to lead climate justice campaigns and empower First Nations young people right across the country. We rely on community donations to power our work, as Seed has a strict policy on where we accept funds from. This means we do not take money from the government, or any source that contradicts our values (ie fossil fuels, gambling etc).”
Know someone in your life who would value support to this cause gifted on their behalf? Perfect..
Your support goes a long way. The ripple effects reach further than we can possibly know ✨
While I’m Walking
A spoken whimsical contemplation every second Sunday on how we may learn to live more beautifully and more fully, with the lessons revealed through nature.
Unpolished, in the moment arising - out on the walking tracks.
Tune into last week to hear some of the ways mother nature is always speaking to us and begin to notice the moments and certain places mother nature is sharing a message with us; speaking with us.
